On a rainy Saturday at Zach’s childhood home in On a rainy Saturday at Zach’s childhood home in Rhode Island, Aysa & Zach became husband and wife. It may not have been the big, Brooklyn wedding they had originally planned but their casual elopement, (with family attending virtually) was effortlessly ‘them’. A personalized playlist, nike adorned, champagne flowing, laughter filled day. Congratulations again Aysa & Zach - it truly was a pleasure to witness your love!

I have a story to share 👇🏻 Growing up in Au I have a story to share 👇🏻

Growing up in Australia, I wore a uniform to school.

Once a year, we have this thing called “Mufti Day” where you can skip the standard uniform and wear your very own clothes to class. My style was definitely a little wacky - think MySpace meets Robert Smith (we don’t have Hot Topic down under but I dreamt about it often and colored my hair accordingly). That day also happened to be the day that the kids who would be joining high school next year were touring the grounds, so there were a lot of people filtering in.

I was waiting patiently outside the school when the principal walked up to me and asked me to move along.
“Oh, I’m just waiting for my friends so we can go in together!” I said.
“I don’t want these kids to think you’re the kind of person that goes here.” she remarked.

Now mind you, I was a straight A student. My poetry had been shown proudly by my English teacher to the entire faculty, the Art teacher had given me the key to the darkroom and that same week, one of my paintings had been entered into a show and won an award.

A few days later, I was called into the principals office.

“I’d love for you to paint me something for my office!” she said.
“Why?” I asked, “Then people would know I go here.”

Why am I telling you this story? People will judge you for the dumbest things but if life has taught me one thing it’s that you should be proud of who you are, regardless of that. Seriously. There’s nobody else like you. Embrace your uniqueness.

You 👏🏻 do 👏🏻 you.

Have I mentioned how much I love lighting? It play Have I mentioned how much I love lighting? It plays such a huge role in creating drama, highlighting certain details and well....lighting up dark spaces!

I don’t tend to get too technical here but in addition to studying photography in college, I’ve spent the last ten years playing and perfecting my use of flash in photography.

Yep - nerd alert.

I’ve shot in dark grungy bars, moody, candlelit receptions and rustic, windowless barns. Trust me when I tell you, I’m confident I can capture your vision.
