I am so honored to have been able to capture another beautiful moment in Kenya & Raymond’s love story.
I photographed their wedding almost 7 years ago, and it means so much to have been able to photograph this maternity session for the lovebirds. We took a walk down memory lane in the same area of Philadelphia that we photographed their engagement session, reminiscing on their wedding and the amount of amazing dancing that took place at their reception and talking about the future of their happy family.
They’re both such kind souls, and I am incredibly grateful to have been able to photograph another amazing moment in their love story.
Emma and Antwan live in Bermuda but decided to hold their wedding with close friends and family on the gorgeous rooftop of Kimpton Ink48 Hotel in New York City. Avid Star Wars fans, they originally planned to hold their intimate event on May 4th (May the Fourth Be With You) but had to change the date to later in the year. The force was still strong within their wedding, as they followed through on their theme with Emma’s gorgeous sparkly shoes and Antwan’s cufflinks, a Star Wars themed cake, and light sabers for their guests, as they sipped on cocktails and enjoyed dinner together whilst the sunset over the stunning skyline view of Manhattan.
Planning a wedding remotely is not easy, but the lovebirds pulled a gorgeous event together, and were such a pleasure to work with. I’m excited to share some photographs from their wedding with you.
I met Cassie and Don many years ago and we quickly bonded over our love for animals. The lovebirds are such kind hearted souls, so I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding at Bally Spring Inn, a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Barto, Pennsylvania.
Despite a little rain (and myself sporting a freshly broken wrist) their rustic wedding had so much love and warmth surrounding it. They chose to include personalized vows and a handfasting ceremony when saying their “I Do’s”, then invited their guests for dinner alongside handmade centerpieces and photographs I took for their engagement, dancing and some Photo Booth fun during their reception. Since Cassie is an avid reader, with a not-so-secret love for Twilight, it seemed only fitting that they included a cake topper inspired by the characters amongst the personalized decorations.
It was a pleasure to be a part of their day and I’m excited to share it with you.
